In Science Fest Africa (SFA) 2026, organized by the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Côte d'Ivoire, Burundi Maarif Schools have qualified for the finals and will represent our country on the international stage.
The finalist projects for Science Fest Africa (SFA), hosted by Côte d'Ivoire’s Maarif Schools under the Turkish Maarif Foundation, have been announced. In this prestigious event featuring student teams from 25 different countries across the African continent, Burundi Maarif Schools have earned their spot in the finals.
Ahmad and Enock, studying at International Maarif Schools of Burundi, were selected for the finals by the jury with a project developed in the Robotic category. Centered on science, technology, and innovation, Science Fest Africa aims to improve students' problem-solving skills, encourage interdisciplinary thinking, and strengthen the culture of science across Africa.
